Band Insights
With the concept of 'insights', bands will have information about what songs the audience likes the most. During a show, audience members can 'like' songs that have been played throughout the gig. These insights are recorded to provide the band a ranking of the fan's favorite songs the band plays. From the band's perspective, this is valuable information. When a band plays a new venue, they want to make that first impression as good as possible, and song selection is key to making that possible. Today, bands use their opinions on what songs they think the audience liked the most at a gig. They can only gauge people's enjoyment on how many people were on the dance floor or tapping away at their table. But most likely, no one was capturing the details of these statistics throughout the gig. Now with Jukebox Live, we can provide the band this information after each show to make sure they know what songs resonate with their audience. And secondarily, learn what wasn't popular so they can tune-up or drop songs as needed.
Over time, we'll provide bands and venues insights on what kind of music appeals to fans at different venues and days of the week. Maybe on Friday nights, country music is very popular, but classic rock is the audience favorite on Saturday nights. With 'insights', bands can tailor their setlist to match the audience's expectations.
